We at Hug Me Covers know shipping speed, costs, and how returns are handled are super important to you. We aim to be as clear as possible so you know what to expect.
1. Shipping
a. Processing Time
• Once you place an order, we take 1-2 business days to process it (confirm payment, check stock, pack).
• Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next working day.
b. Delivery Time
• Standard shipping: Typically delivery takes 3-7 business days within major cities, and 5-10 business days for more remote areas.
• Express shipping (if offered): Delivery in 1-3 business days in selected cities.
• These are estimates, and actual delivery may vary due to weather, courier delays, public holidays, or unforeseen events.
c. Shipping Locations
• We currently ship to all pin-codes in India.
• If you are outside India, please contact us first; international shipping may be possible with extra charges, customs, or import duties.
d. Shipping Costs & Free Shipping
• Shipping charges depend on order value, weight/size, and location. You will see applicable charges at checkout.
e. Tracking Your Order
• Once your order is shipped, we’ll send you a tracking number via email/SMS.
• You can check the status of your delivery using the courier’s tracking website or via our “My Orders” page.
f. Damaged or Lost Shipments
• If your order arrives damaged, or you believe your order is lost in transit, please notify us within 10 hours of delivery (damaged) or expected delivery date (lost), with photos or other proof.
• We will work with the courier to resolve the issue either by arranging a replacement or issuing a refund.
2. Returns
a. Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, all the following must apply:
• Request is made within 10 hours of delivery.
• Product is unused, unwashed, and in the same condition received.
• All tags, packaging, and accessories are intact.
• Proof of purchase is provided (order number, invoice, etc.).
Customised/personalised orders may not be eligible for return unless there is a defect or error.
b. How to Initiate a Return
• Contact Us via email at contact@hugmecovers.com, providing your order number, photos of the product, and reason for return.
• We’ll review and if approved, send you a return shipping authorization and address.
c. Return Shipping Cost
• If the return is due to our error (defective product, wrong product shipped, etc.), we will cover return shipping costs.
• If the return is for other reasons (change of mind, wrong model chosen, etc.), you may need to pay the return shipping cost.
d. Refunds
• Once we receive the returned item and inspect it, we’ll process your refund.
• Refunds are generally issued to the original payment method.
• Processing time after we accept the return: about 7-15 business days (may depend on your bank/payment partner).
e. Exchange Option
• If you want an exchange, please let us know in your return request.
• Exchanges are subject to stock availability. If the replacement item is more expensive, you may be asked to pay the price difference. If less, we’ll refund the difference.
3. Combined Shipping & Returns Notes
• Sometimes courier partners may handle return pick-ups; in other cases, you may need to send back the product via an approved courier. We’ll provide instructions.
• Please pack returned items carefully to avoid damage in transit. We may refuse a return if the item arrives damaged due to improper packaging.
